For more than 20 years, J.D. Power has conducted the APEAL Study. The APEAL Study determines how gratifying it is to own and operate a vehicle based on customer feedback regarding 77 automotive attributes. Survey participants are asked for their feedback after they’ve owned a new car for 90 days. J.D. Power reports that the vehicles that have the greatest appeal have greater driver loyalty and higher transaction prices and that they spend less time at dealerships before they’re purchased.

Clearly, every car manufacturer wants its automobiles to rank well in the annual J.D. Power APEAL Study. And we’re thrilled to tell you that some of the vehicles we sell and lease succeeded in doing just that in 2018.

More specifically, the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica earned the top spot in the minivan category. This is the second year in a row that the Chrysler Pacifica earned this coveted position in the J.D. Power APEAL Study. The 2018 Dodge Charger and the 2018 Chrysler 300 also did well in the study. The new Dodge Charger and the 2018 Chrysler 300 earned the second and third spots in the large car automotive class.

And that’s not all! The J.D. Power 2018 U.S. Automotive Performance, Execution, and Layout Study also recognized the RAM brand and the Dodge brand as the third and fourth highest-ranked automakers among mass-market manufacturers. The study acknowledged the Dodge brand and the Jeep® brand as the second and third most improved car makers as well.
